T is for......

We went to our favorite Chinese restaurant for dinner a while ago. Our waitress (and I think owner) has come to know us and gets a giggle out of the boy's zeal to enjoy their food and eat with chopsticks. She, bless her little heart, has broken English and can, at times, be hard to understand. Boo asked me if she was speaking Spanish and I explained that I thought she was probably speaking Chinese. B has a fascination with foreign language and we were discussing the many languages that B could learn to speak. From his little corner of the table T cutely looks up and proudly announces the fact that when he grows up he is going to learn to speak pizza! It took me a flabbergasted moment to understand his little thought pattern then I busted into laughter. Well of course! If we were eating in a Chinese restaurant and you could learn to speak Chinese, then it would stand to reason that if you could eat in a pizza restaurant you should be able to learn to speak pizza! Man I love watching the way my children's minds work.
