New Year's Eve Engagement!

Last night my sister Leslie called me with the wonderful news of her engagement to her long time.... (Hmmm... when we have cleared our thirties do we still say "boyfriend" or should it be "partner" or......) Well anyway, my sister is now engaged to Mr. Tony B. who if I started spouting credentials and achievements would make me sound ridiculously prejudiced because the list is so long so I will just say that she is engaged to a charming and devoted man who makes her incredibly happy and so makes me incredibly happy. I am so happy for her (for them both) that I could just burst. They have been together for.... going on eight years I believe.... after meeting each other by chance on a trip to Costa Rica and have shared many domestic and international adventures together. Their home base is now Anchorage Alaska where they juggle multiple jobs and projects while planning the next big adventure. I am happy dancing all around the house!!!

And to my children's new "Uncle Tony" - YEA!!!!! Shad and I are so excited and happy! Welcome to the family!
