A Trip to Iscandar

OK, So I am REALLY loving netflix at the moment. I just reserved the entire first season of Starblazers. I hope this is not like the time I sat down ready to enjoy a little retro TV moment of Gilligan's Island and thought to myself "Wow, I used to love this and I don't remember it being quite this corny when I was a kid!" I HOPE that I will sit down with my two sons and we will all love it. (there's probably no hope for Shad, I gave up on him a long time ago when he didn't know anything about the children's show banana splits.) We'll see. It will be entertaining either way.

Dark Urban Dream

I could not sleep last night and decided to play around with Photoshop. Here is my first "real" Photomanipulation. I had fun doing it but realize now just how much I have to learn!

You Have To Love Grandfathers

We are sitting at baseball yesterday (seems like that is all we do anymore!) in a little group of parents who are enthusiastically cheering on their children. T suddenly starts hopping around and says...

"Guess what I learned from PopPop today?"

"Whats that hun"

"I learned that if you can unscrew your belly button your butt will fall off!"

The whole group of parents started laughing. I just rolled my eyes, I was not in the least surprised by his comment considering it came from my father. Thanks Dad. What I thought was funny is that he took it so seriously because the next thing he said was,

"So, do you think that if I could unscrew my ear my stomach might fall out?"
Why that prospect delighted him so much I will never know.

Poor kid, you'd think with my Dad that I would have lost my gullibility YEARS before I did, but he still manages to get me every once in a while. T is pretty quick witted though. Maybe he will fair better than I ever did!

You gotta love PopPop.
